WHITE AND RAMEN

Hi there!

I know it has been quite a while since my last post. Can't blame me... I have to go back to school. Which means less free-time more reading. Anyway, I know you guys understand me so, let's go to the main programming, shall we?

Wore this when I attended a benefit bazaar in Mc Kinley at Venice Piazza last May 16. It was the bazaar presented by World Vision and One For the Youth. 

My friend, who owns Li's Closet (Libebi on IG), was initially invited to participate the bazaar but because of short notice, he had to decline due to some other commitments. We decided that since he wasn't able to join the bazaar, why not participate? Drop by the place, buy some stuff to help the organization...nice one right?! 

Since the event is outdoors and starts noon of summer, i decided to keep everything light and easy. Wore a white airy tennis shorts, light denim button down, a pair of native flats, a ring and some white stacks from my friend's shop (hay! perks of having a friend who owns a bling shop!). I also wore my new Casio Vintage watch.

The weird part of the day, despite the humidity and warm weather, my tummy  craved for some Japanese Ramen... (uber weird, right?!). So we decided to try Ramen Bar! 

I recommend Ramen Bar! Super yum, big servings, very reasonable price! I had such a great time visiting the place and I'll definitely come back!

SUMMER SWAG

Remember me telling you how much i love colors? Well I do! Here's a proof! 

Colors affect one's mood, sometimes even how he/she perceives something. It can either heighten up or  dampens someone's emotion. It can make you feel fresh or a mess, cool or uncool, hot or not.

Now that it is summer here in the Philippines, colorful dressing is very much seen anywhere. May it be on the beach, at the mall, in the office. Whether it may be printed or plain solid color.

Here's what i wore on a day to the mall to do some shopping and run some errands. 

Since i will be running back and forth and will be carrying shopping bags most of the time, i decided to wear comfortable shorts and a pair of boat shoes with my PG-13 shirt (at least according to my MOM). Finished it off with some gold accessories from _happywrist_ and Li's Closet.

SILVER SHOTS

NOTE TO READERS: I am not angry! 

Imagine taking photos under the sun at 1 pm... sorry but this is the most "unaffected" look i can produce. Seriously, days are getting hotter and hotter by the hour! (rhymes, lol !) 

I m pretty worked up so i m keeping this short. Wore this to church and some "sit down" with my partner. We discussed what to release for his shop (if you wanna see the results, check this out). I was not able to take some photos of me after the meeting... believe me... it s far worse than this! hahaha.

Denim and Khakis have always been a reliable combo. They never go out of style. They give this masculine vibe with a hint of sophistication. Accessorized a bit with some samples from Li's Closet. Guys, i m telling you, you should drop by his page  (or you may just follow him in instagram @libebi) and check out classy and stylish blings! Trust me when i tell you, this guys is a GENIUS! All his staff are HANDMADE and one of a kind! (yey! support HANDMADE!)

Can't Touch This

January is almost over! Haay! Time goes by so fast! I'm still in the "Vacation Phase" ! oh Baguio! I miss you so much! :) Anyway, here's another outfit i wore during our stay there.  During vacation, everyone definitely wants to dress up comfortably. The main point of going on a vacation is to relax... and wearing hard-to-put-on clothes defeats the purpose of unwinding (right?). 

The drop-crotch pants reminded me of MC Hammer. You know "cant touch this.. tenenen nenen" lol. I'm really not that familiar with the song. I used to hear it back in the days when my mom play her records! ahaha. I put on this busy top and my high-cut shoe from Ubiq. The shoe is so cute. If you'll look closer...Batman is in it :) Anyway, because the top is so busy, i opted not to wear any arm candies anymore. Another interesting about this look is the neck piece i wore. It is made up of Hex Nuts, carefully crafted by Li's Closet.

Emerald Green!!! A must-have for 2013!

Allow me to greet you guys a HAPPY NEW YEAR! All the best for everyone this 2013! A new year also means a new chance to make things better! Speaking of better, have you seen how my photos are arranged and were identically sized (at least most of them) ?! Hey… you have to give me a little more credit… I’m not a techie! And yes, it’s one of my MUST DO this year! 

For the New Year, we were lucky enough to get out of the city and welcome 2013 in Baguio! Ahhh! Baguio! One of my Favorite places to-go in the country! If you’ve been visiting my tumblr account, you’ll see my photo dumps there! Hihihi. We were lucky enough to get last minute booking with Emily's Garden Suites (I’ll tell you more about them on my next post). The place was so quiet, peaceful and pretty!!! (so peaceful, i was not able to get out of bed when the ball dropped!)  Plus Kuya Raymond (I’m not sure if this is how he spells his name) was VERY (all caps for intensity) accommodating! Am I talking too much? Ahah. See told you! For the BETTER! (Again, for intensity). 

For this shot, I wore a black tweed jacket from Armani, a grey printed slim pants, my favorite pair of Salvatore suede boots and Li's Closet Emerald set, a part of their upcoming Blings for 2013. As predicted by the fashion gods, one of 2013’s pantone is Emerald Green. Used to be my least favorite color but now I love it! (Kudos to Li’s Closet ‘s creative team). Try them and be in.

HOLIDAY COWBOY

 It has been quite a while since i posted something here. Again, I would like to apologize. Both work and school papers occupied me... leaving me no time to update this personal space. Recently, i changed phones and was able to find a way to keep you guys updated. INSTAGRAM. Yes, you can follow me gab_atlaw through your IG accounts.

Anyway, about this look... this is what i wore for a church event. No dress code was implemented so i opted to go comfy and style at the same time. I wore buttoned down in purple with reindeer prints (just to keep the holiday spirit alive), and then matched it up with some khakis (GIORDANO) . Now to keep it from being dull and uber comfy, i wore my old (very old) boots. Also, i went for minimal blings. All from LI's Closet! Featured here  is their upcoming twentythirteen collection.
