BASIC GRAFFITI

I consider SHOES as men's basic need. You know, like food, water, love (cheesy!). ahaha. With that being said, when a friend invited to a place where they make shoes, I immediately said YES!

Marikina City is known as the SHOE CAPITAL of the Philippines since 1956. Since then, the shoe making industry in the city have grown tremendously. Soon enough, the place was known, not just in the Philippines, but around the world, producing high quality shoes. To know more about the place, we decided to go to their cute museum. According to my friend, who LOVES shoesssss (for emphasis), this cute museum houses former First lady Imelda Marcos's shoesssss (oh yeah!)

Enough of me blabbing about the place, let's talk about that I wore. 

Since it was a day trip, middle of summer, I went for a clean, breathable and basic clothes.

Basics are a very safe option when going out in an unfamiliar territory. Its the simplest way of looking put together. Add some blings and some comfy shoes... and you're good to go!

In taking outfit shots, since you're wearing basics, you might wanna find a colorful spot to strike a pose, like this graffiti wall i found. If you can't find anything like this, opt to take a garden shot or anywhere where there is color!

RED WHITE AND BLACK

These photos were taken a few weeks back. 

I wore this for a quick trip out of the Metro. Argh! 

I've been craving for vacation! But then again, who doesn't? right?!

Dressing up for a trip out of town is quite easy. You would want to stick to those comfy, yet presentable, clothes that will help you feel good despite long driving hours. 

For your shoes, comfy boat shoes will do the trick. Especially if you'll be the one driving. :)

Keep your BLINGS simple, especially if you'll ride a plane. You might wanna stick to easy-to-put easy-to-remove blings. If you're an arm party addict, like me, i would suggest to lessen the attendees of the party, if you know what i mean. Keep your blings minimal.

As with the bag, I would suggest bringing an overnight. Not too big, not too small. Enough to fit all your gadgets, personal hygiene stuff, a pair of slippers, and a couple of clothes to change. You might also want to bring a small body-body bag that you will carry while walking around, so you can leave your overnight bag in the car :)

One lazy Sunday, this is what i wore. 

It has been very hard for me to dress up the past few days because of the heat. Summer here in the Philippines have changed from HOT to HOT HOT. 

Even when you have your A/C on, the summer heat will leave you sweaty. 

Things i wore in this post are very basic, almost any guy have them in their closet. 

White inner shirt, bright button-down shirt made out of a light material, khakis and a pair of colorful boat shoes.

OFF THE BASE

Sport is never me. I mean, I'm not hating it, but there's something about it that makes me feel uncomfortable.  The sweat, the warmth it gives the body, the odor, add the fact that most sports are being played outdoors. uh.

I know what you guys are thinking. YES, I'm not your typical guy.

If i need to sweat a bit and keep myself fit, I go to the gym. 

So i hope you guys will be more  "nice" to me in judging my ensemble. This is the "sportiest" I can get.

SO SO BLUE

Seriously, doesn't this entry look EMO (emotional, full of emotion) to you? Ahaha. There is something with the weather and the streets that makes me feel so... dramatic. 

Anyways, back to the main programming. I'm gonna keep this short because my PC is acting up (argh!).

Blue with Khakis never goes out of style. There's something about these two, that when paired, looks effortlessly stylish and classy. Wore this for Church and to run some errands after the service.
